John Cornell

John is a retired partner of the international law firm Jones Day, where he specialized in employee benefits and executive compensation. He graduated from Colby College (BA), Georgetown University (JD), and New York University (LLM). He is a Trustee Emeritus of Colby College and formerly chaired its Alumni Council. John currently serves on the board of the Atlantic Salmon Federation (US), where he chairs the Legal and International Governmental Affairs Committees. John is admitted to the Maine Bar and is a member of the Anglers’ Club of New York and the Megantic Fish and Game Corporation. He and his wife live in South Freeport.
