Gabe Gauvin

Gabe leads key initiatives at Maine Redevelopment including Municipal Technical Assistance, Brownfields Redevelopment, Land Bank Operations, and Special Projects. He brings a background in place-based economic development, rural planning, environmental remediation, and navigating complex public- private redevelopment projects. Gabe has lived and worked in nearly every region of Maine, giving him a strong, ground-level understanding of the state’s diverse communities and the unique challenges they face. He is driven by the opportunity to create tangible change through thoughtful community investment and revitalization efforts. Prior to joining Maine Redevelopment, Gabe worked with the Central Maine Growth Council, where he helped advance regional revitalization initiatives, including supporting tech and innovation startups, advising Main Street businesses, advancing housing projects, and facilitating long-term, sustainable growth across the region.

For the last decade, I’ve had the privilege of living near and enjoying both the Kennebec and Sandy River with my wife and our two daughters.
