Juliet Browne

Juliet practices law at Verrill in Portland, Maine. She represents a range of clients on all aspects of environmental law and has been recognized frequently for her ability to manage large-scale complex permitting and development matters. She has a particular focus on renewable energy development, including both wind and solar. Juliet joined Verrill after practicing law at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in San Francisco, and serving as Assistant Attorney General for the Republic of Palau, a former U.S. Trust Territory located in the Western Pacific. She obtained her undergraduate degree in philosophy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Juliet lives with her husband in Portland and enjoys almost every outdoor activity, including hiking and cross-country skiing.
